By downloading, installing, or using BaristaPal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
BaristaPal is a coffee brewing companion app that provides shot logging, AI-powered brewing assistance, equipment management, community recipes, and integration with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices such as smart scales, pressure sensors, and refractometers.
You must create an account to use BaristaPal. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.
BaristaPal offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are governed by the respective app store terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings.
You retain ownership of content you create within BaristaPal, including brew logs, recipes, and reviews. By sharing content with the community, you grant BaristaPal a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that content within the App. You may remove your shared content at any time.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Community content is subject to automated and manual moderation.
The AI Coffee Coach provides brewing suggestions and recommendations based on your data and general coffee knowledge. These recommendations are for informational purposes only. BaristaPal does not guarantee specific brewing outcomes. The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or suboptimal suggestions.
BaristaPal integrates with third-party BLE devices. We are not responsible for the functionality, accuracy, or safety of third-party hardware. Device compatibility is provided on a best-effort basis and may vary by device firmware version.
BaristaPal, including its design, code, AI models, and knowledge base content, is the intellectual property of BaristaPal. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
BaristaPal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaristaPal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to equipment damage, data loss, or brewing outcomes.
We may suspend or terminate your access to BaristaPal at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
